Trimming your bettercup stem

Your bettercup will sit lower down than a tampon but should still be fully inside your vagina. Our bodies are all different and vaginal lengths vary, so the stem is designed to be trimmed to suit you. 

If you experience discomfort from the stem when moving or sitting, simply remove your bettercup and trim the stem, as designed, a little at a time.

Reinsert and check comfort before trimming again. Some customers find they need to trim the entire stem. Make sure you feel comfortable removing your cup without the stem. Practise squeezing the base of the bettercup for removal - whilst the stem is still attached - to ensure you feel confident removing it that way.
